Bridging Cultural Differences Millimetre by Millimetre
Many developing countries are faced with limited resources to meet its basic needs. This stems from a myriad of social, economic and political problems that have plagued developing countries for years. The needs include but are not limited to the provision of suitable water and sanitation systems in communities, schools, homes and child care facilities; the provision of accessible education especially to vulnerable groups; poor road conditions; lack of appropriate and marketable skills especially for the youth, high unemployment rates and inadequate health care for citizens.
The BridgIT Water Foundation has selected an issue to address that of providing suitable and accessible water and sanitation solutions to specific institutions in the health and education sector in developing countries over a period of time.
