What you get when you sponsor the full cost of a community water project

  • Donor satisfaction by directly helping hundreds of people who otherwise may never have had access to a clean, safe water supply.

  • Value for donor buck with each sponsored community typically impacts 500 to 2,000 people.

  • Sponsors are provided with community names, GPS coordinates (where possible) and population or school enrolment numbers. 

  • Every donor that sponsors the full cost of a community water supply is acknowledged as the official sponsor on a plaque attached to the equipment.

  • Sponsors typically see the results of their investment within one month.

  • Real-time progress reporting is provided as the wells are in construction. 

  • The sponsor typically receives a Completion Report within one month of project handover to the community.

We Keep You Informed On Every Project

PLANNING & PREPARATION PHASE

​Sponsors are provided with details of their sponsored community.

  • The community has been thoroughly assessed for need

  • Primary stakeholders have been identified and encouraged to  participate within the target community

  • Current water sources have been verified

  • Technical water system design has been identified

  • Project budgets have been determined

  • Sustainability approaches within the community have been identified for project implementation 

IMPLEMENTATION & PROGRESS PHASE

​Sponsors are provided with proof of project progress. 

​

  • GPS coordinates recorded

  • Project construction

  • Health, child protection and people with disability education

  • Project management and monitoring

  • Project progress reporting

SUSTAINABILITY & CAPACITY BUILDING PHASE
  • Field monitoring implemented.

  • Training of  Water User Committees (WUCs) is implemented

  • Sustainability strategies, including water well maintenance training, are implemented

  • WASH training is implemented

  • Post-project evaluation and learning are carried out

  • Performance effectiveness indicators and success measures carried out 

PROJECT COMPLETION

​Sponsors are provided with proof of how project funds were used

​

  • The water supply is handed over to the community

  • Acknowledgement signage placed on the wellhead

  • Project performance effectiveness, indicators and success measures recorded

  • Completion Report compiled and presented

Water Solution Methods

We match your donation to the most appropriate water solution method with every sponsored project. 

 

There are engineering and technical considerations with water movement.  Our projects range from a simple hand pump installation to a more complex solar pump installation.
